We serve individuals and businesses in the D.C. suburbs of Prince George’s County and surrounding counties of southern Maryland, including Anne Arundel County, Charles County, Calvert County and St. Mary’s County.
Our legal team includes founder Ralph Powers Jr. and Jane K. Powers, an experienced, certified mediator. Our law practice is chiefly focused in estate administration and probate litigation, real estate and construction law, business litigation, and family law. We also handle select personal injury and criminal defense matters for new and existing clients.

Ralph W. Powers Jr. was born and raised in Upper Marlboro, and he comes from a family of long-standing legal talent. He spent two years in the Peace Corps before going to college and then obtaining his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. “I saw going into law as another rewarding way to help people. It’s problem solving, really.”
Ralph has practiced law in Prince George’s County since 1974, mostly as a solo attorney. Over the decades, he has stayed true to those ideals and core values, as reflected in his AV rating* through Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Powers is highly regarded within the legal community and receives many referrals from fellow attorneys and appointments from judges. He has also been called on to testify as an expert on various complex legal matters.
